Biodiesel is a renewable, alternative fuel that can be used in diesel engines.  Biodiesel is made from oils, like vegetable oils, used restaurant oils, and grease. Biodiesel can be used exclusively, or it can be mixed with regular diesel to create a biodiesel blend.  When the biodiesel is created there is a byproduct called glycerin.  The excess glycerin can then be used to make all natural soaps.

    Biodiesel is an environmentally friendly alternative fuel.  It is better for the surrounding environment and has low emissions compared to regular diesel.  Biodiesel is biodegradable, nontoxic, and for the most part, free of sulfur and aromatics.  Also, because biodiesel is made from renewable resources, it decreases dependency on foreign oil and helps local economies grow and develop.  The use of biodiesel reduces the amount of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide released into the air compared to regular diesel.  Overall, it is a cleaner burning fuel.
